Area Collection Manager-Retail Unsecured BL, Nagpur

Role Overview:
The Area Collection Manager will be responsible for managing collections for retail unsecured business loans within the assigned geography. The role involves driving portfolio quality, minimizing delinquencies, and ensuring efficient recovery processes while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end collections for unsecured business loan portfolio in the assigned area
• Monitor delinquent accounts (0–90+ DPD) and implement effective recovery strategies
• Lead and manage field collection teams, agencies, and tele-calling units
• Ensure timely resolution of overdue accounts and reduce NPA levels
• Track daily/monthly collection targets and ensure achievement
• Maintain portfolio hygiene and improve collection efficiency ratios
• Coordinate with credit, risk, and sales teams for early risk identification
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
• Handle escalations and high-value delinquent cases effectively
• Conduct regular field visits for critical cases and team monitoring

Key Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in collections (preferably unsecured loans like BL/PL)
• Strong understanding of delinquency buckets and recovery mechanisms
• Experience in handling field teams and collection agencies
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities
