Job Description: Area Collection Manager – Two-Wheeler Loans (Flows

Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Department: Collections

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collections Management:

    • Oversee and manage the collection process for two-wheeler loans in the assigned area.
    • Ensure timely follow-up and recovery of overdue accounts to minimize delinquencies.
  2. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate the collections team, including on-roll and off-roll staff.
    • Monitor team performance and provide regular training to enhance efficiency.
  3. Portfolio Monitoring:

    • Analyze delinquency trends and devise strategies to improve collection rates.
    • Manage the flow and stock of Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and ensure adherence to targets.
  4. Customer Interaction:

    • Engage with customers for loan recovery, negotiate settlements, and handle escalations professionally.
    • Ensure compliance with RBI and internal guidelines while dealing with customers.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of collections and recovery activities.
    • Prepare and share periodic reports on collections performance and portfolio health with management.
  6. Coordination:

    • Liaise with internal departments such as Risk, Operations, and Legal to streamline the collection process.
    • Work with external agencies, if required, to ensure effective recovery.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in collections, with at least 2-3 years handling two-wheeler loans or similar retail lending products.
  • Education:
    • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
    • Leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with local market dynamics in Bhopal and the surrounding region.
    • Understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance in collections.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Reduction in delinquency rates and overall NPAs.
  • Team productivity and collection efficiency.
  • Adherence to TATs (Turnaround Times) and compliance standards.
