The Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Unsecured Loans is responsible for driving business growth in the assigned territory by managing a team of Relationship Managers/Executives, building strong distribution channels, ensuring target achievement, and maintaining portfolio quality in the unsecured loans segment (Business Loans).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve business targets for unsecured loans  (Business Loans, etc.) in the assigned territory.

  • Manage, guide, and motivate a team of Relationship Managers/Executives to achieve individual and team sales goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, DSAs, and connectors to ensure consistent lead generation.

  • Monitor portfolio quality and ensure adherence to credit policies and compliance guidelines.

  • Drive productivity, sales effectiveness, and cross-selling initiatives within the team.

  • Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance monitoring of the sales team.

  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to strengthen market positioning.

  • Coordinate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely disbursal of loans.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and resolve escalations effectively.
