Lead & manage the branch’s operations for mutual-fund business: oversee staff, processes, and service delivery.
Drive business growth: achieve / exceed sales targets for mutual-fund products (retail, HNI, channel/distributors).
Build and expand the distribution network: activate new channel partners (IFAs, banks, corporate tie-ups), strengthen existing ones.
Manage branch P&L, budgets, expense control and financial performance of the branch.
Ensure operational efficiency and compliance: ensure all branch activities adhere to company policies, regulatory norms (e.g., Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations for mutual funds) and internal controls.
Staff management & development: recruit, train, mentor branch staff; set performance metrics, drive motivation and productivity.
Customer relationship & service: ensure high standards of investor servicing, resolution of escalations, maintain branch reputation.
Market/territory management: monitor market trends, competitor activity, devise branch-level strategies accordingly.
Reporting & communication: furnish periodic reports on branch performance, pipeline, sales, compliance to senior management.
