This role will be responsible for managing application development and delivery for critical business platforms in a fast-paced financial services environment. The role requires strong technical leadership along with proven experience in project management, delivery governance, CI/CD implementation, and team handling. We are seeking a highly experienced IT professional with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, and Cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud/AWS) to lead enterprise application development and digital transformation initiatives. |

Functional Responsibilities |
Technical Leadership • Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using: o Java / J2EE o Spring Boot & Microservices o Oracle PL/SQL o Angular • Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS. • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures. • Define coding standards, security standards, and development best practices. • Conduct technical reviews and ensure application quality and performance optimization. Project Management & Delivery • Manage end-to-end project development lifecycle including requirement analysis, estimation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and support. • Drive project delivery with internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders. • Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, quality, and budget. • Track project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and business stakeholders. Team Management • Lead and manage development teams comprising developers, technical leads, QA, and support engineers. • Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure productivity across teams. • Mentor team members and drive technical capability building. • Manage vendor coordination and offshore/onshore delivery teams where applicable. DevOps & CI/CD • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes. • Work with DevOps teams to improve deployment automation and release management. • Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices and release governance. • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Cloud & Infrastructure • Work on cloud-native or hybrid application deployments using Oracle Cloud or AWS. • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams for environment setup, monitoring, and optimization. • Ensure high availability, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance. Governance & Compliance • Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit, security, and regulatory standards applicable to BFSI/NBFC domains. • Participate in production support governance, incident management, and RCA reviews. |
