We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head - Hard Bucket & Recoveries to lead the end-to-end recovery function for our NPA portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in collections strategy, regulatory compliance, legal recoveries, and team leadership

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the end-to-end collections and recovery function across the NPA portfolio, ensuring optimal recovery performance and portfolio quality
  • Develop and execute robust recovery strategies across early, mid, and late-stage delinquency buckets, including 60+ DPD cases to maximize collections and minimize credit losses.
  • Leverage MIS, analytics, and performance dashboards to drive data-backed decision-making, portfolio monitoring, and continuous process improvement.
  • Champion digital collections and technology-led recovery initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer engagement.
  • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing collections and recovery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and ethical practices.
  • Ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations, NBFC guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices across all collection and recovery activities.
  • Partner with legal teams to drive recoveries through SARFAESI, arbitration, litigation, and other statutory recovery mechanisms wherever applicable.
  • Manage and govern external collection agencies, recovery partners, and legal vendors, ensuring SLA compliance, governance standards, and ethical conduct.
  • Balance recovery objectives with customer-centric engagement, effective risk mitigation, and the organization's reputation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Credit, Operations, and Business teams to strengthen portfolio performance and drive sustainable recovery outcomes.
