Role Overview:
The HR Manager will lead the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring seamless execution of core HR processes and statutory compliances under BOCW, CLRA, and other applicable labour laws.
This role demands a balance of strategic HR capability and on-ground operational excellence, with strong coordination between corporate HR and project teams.
How can you make an Impact?
- Ensure 100% compliance with BOCW, CLRA, EPF, ESI, and related labour regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits at project locations to identify and rectify compliance gaps.
- Prepare for and manage external auditors during inspections to avoid penalties or legal repercussions.
- Generate periodic reports on compliance metrics and ensure timely submissions to government portals.
- Coordinate with external consultants, labour departments, and government bodies for timely license renewals (e.g., CLRA registrations, BOCW cess payments).
- Proactively track expiration dates and resolve discrepancies to prevent operational disruptions.
- Execute exit formalities, including Full & Final (F&F) settlements within statutory timelines.
- Track clearances and close employee records to minimize litigation risks.
- Facilitate grievance handling in line with labour laws, mediating between corporate HR and site teams.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure resolutions align with statutory dispute resolution timelines.
- Conduct compliance spot-checks and align site practices with central policies.
What are we looking for?
- 8–12 years of progressive experience across operations, compliance, employee relations, and engagement.
- Strong understanding of BOCW, CLRA, EPF, ESI, and statutory frameworks related to construction and real estate operations.
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and audit readiness capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills to work with internal teams, site HRs, and contractors.
- Balanced focus on employee relations and compliance discipline for smooth on-ground execution.
