Region: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
The Regional Head – Current Accounts will be responsible for driving acquisition, growth, and profitability of the Current Account (CA) business across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, bank officer coordination, and ensuring compliance while achieving regional business targets.
Hierarchy Managed:
ZSM → RSM → ASM → SM → Bank Officers
Own and drive the Current Account acquisition and portfolio growth for AP & Telangana.
Formulate and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Lead, mentor, and monitor performance of the ZSM, RSM, ASM, SM, and Bank Officers.
Ensure consistent productivity, target achievement, and revenue growth across the region.
Build and strengthen relationships with key corporate, MSME, SME, and trade clients.
Monitor CASA balances, activation levels, cross-sell opportunities, and account usage metrics.
Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance norms across all branches.
Track regional MIS, review performance dashboards, and conduct regular business reviews.
Coordinate with product, operations, risk, and compliance teams for smooth execution.
Drive process efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction in the region.
Strong leadership and multi-level team management experience.
Deep understanding of Current Account, CASA, MSME, and corporate banking products.
Proven ability in regional business expansion and target-driven environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and MIS review capabilities.
10+ years of experience in banking/NBFC CASA or Current Account business, with regional-level exposure.
Prior experience managing large sales teams across multiple locations.
Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
