Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    Building and maintaining strong relationships with business banking clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions.

  • Portfolio Management:

    Managing a portfolio of accounts, monitoring performance, ensuring portfolio hygiene, and facilitating renewals and enhancements.

  • Sales & Business Development:

    Meeting and exceeding sales targets, acquiring new clients, and cross-selling various banking products and services.

  • Product Knowledge:

    Possessing a strong understanding of financial statements, credit assessments, and relevant banking products.

  • Collaboration:

    Working with internal teams like credit, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Market Awareness:

    Staying updated on market trends, competitor activities, and identifying potential business opportunities. 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    Typically requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business banking or commercial lending.

  • Education:

    A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is generally required.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are crucial for building client relationships.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for understanding client needs and providing appropriate solutions.
