Solution & Project Manager – Transit Payments
Reports to: Project Manager
Purpose of the Job
To lead transit payment projects and ensure seamless delivery of payment solutions for transit operators by combining technical expertise with strong project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
Define end-to-end transit payment solutions (Open Loop, Closed Loop, EMV, QR, Contactless)
Collaborate with product, tech, and client teams
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Draft and review Functional Specification Documents
Project Management
Plan, execute, and deliver projects within scope, time, and budget
Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Maintain documentation and status reports
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as primary client contact
Conduct walkthroughs, presentations, and demos
Quality & Compliance
Oversee testing and certifications
Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, EMVCo, and transit guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
8+ years in project management (4+ in transit payments/fintech)
Strong knowledge of EMV, NFC, QR, AFC systems
Experience delivering complex transport projects
Desired Skills
