PURPOSE OF JOB
|

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the execution and delivery of Digital Payment initiatives in our Product & Digital Transformation. This role involves coordinating resources, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and maintaining communication between stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will be detail- oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and with a deep understanding of
payments (acquiring) domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
|
|
- Own E2E planning and implementation of projects working across stakeholders in Product, Solutioning , Technology.
- Break down complex projects into actionable tasks and assign timelines and owners.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to get detailed understanding of the business requirement and build this into a crisp detailed document that will clearly define scope, deliverables, responsibilities, dependencies.
- Will have to frontend client interactions and maintain detailed project updates , managing client expectations and articulating asks and requirements clearly.
- Assist in task assignment, resource planning and schedule management across internal teams.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of project budgets and financial plans.
- Analyze and proactively identify risks and opportunities, escalating as needed.
- Track project progress, identify blockers, and work with the Project Manager to remove obstacles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project status updates and stakeholder communications.
- Utilize project management tools to track working hours, plans, expenditures, and deliverables.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, plans, reports, and communication records.
- Ensure project quality standards are met by conducting QA checks and adherence to requirements.

QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
|
|
- 12-15 years of Prior experience in BFSI, significant part of which is in payment’s domain (Merchant Acquiring/Card issuing/UPI); candidates with backgrounds with payment experience in banks, fintechs, payment tech companies, payment related consulting experience ( Fiserv, PayTM, NPCI, Mindgate, Accenture, In Solutions Global, Banks, Razorpay, Juspay, PhonePe etc)
- Proven work experience in terms of owning and delivering complex projects end to end – managing a team of direct/indirect reportees
- Excellent verbal and written communication in terms of both understanding detailed requirements and underlying business needs and also communicating prerequisites , blockers, plans, asks and assert deliverables across stakeholders
- MBA degree from reputed/known institute would be preferred
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, Gantt charts, and step-by-step action plans.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multitasking and time-sensitive deadlines.
