Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage multiple warehouse locations and drive operational excellence across inventory management, warehouse processes, dispatch operations, and team performance. The role requires ensuring inventory accuracy, process compliance, warehouse optimization, and seamless coordination with suppliers, finance, and business teams to support uninterrupted customer deliveries.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) entries and maintain MIS on GRN accuracy. 

  • Conduct quarterly reconciliation of physical inventory against ERP records and resolve discrepancies. 

  • Drive perpetual inventory implementation and maintain high inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations. 

  • Monitor and escalate slow-moving and non-moving inventory (>90 days) with actionable recommendations. 

  • Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First In First Out) practices across all material categories. 

  • Maintain complete location-wise traceability of inventory within the warehouse. 

 

Warehouse Operations

  • Ensure accurate material picking, issuance, storage, and dispatch. 

  • Monitor warehouse space utilization and recommend layout improvements for operational efficiency. 

  • Implement and sustain 5S standards to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. 

  • Ensure timely dispatch of rejected materials back to suppliers. 

  • Coordinate customer dispatches as per Just-in-Time (JIT) schedules or customer-triggered requirements. 

  • Monitor dispatch acknowledgements and reconcile dispatch records with customer confirmations. 

 

Process & Compliance

  • Share timely discrepancy reports with suppliers for shortages, damages, or quality issues. 

  • Coordinate with the Finance team for timely Credit Note (CN) and Debit Note (DN) reconciliation. 

  • Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, inventory controls, safety standards, and company policies. 

  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. 

 

Reporting & MIS

Prepare and circulate daily MIS covering:

  • Inward vs. Sales 

  • Material Receipt vs. Issuance 

  • GRN Accuracy 

  • Non-moving Inventory (>90 Days) 

  • Inventory Accuracy 

  • Dispatch vs. Acknowledgement Status 

  • Warehouse Utilization Metrics 

 

Team Management

  • Lead and develop warehouse teams across multiple warehouse locations. 

  • Allocate manpower effectively to achieve operational targets. 

  • Train team members on warehouse processes, safety practices, ERP usage, and inventory control. 

  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. 

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations.

  • Experience managing multiple warehouse locations is highly preferred. 

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory controls, FIFO, perpetual inventory, and ERP systems. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, reporting, and data analysis). 

  • Good computer operating knowledge and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)/ERP. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Excellent team management and leadership skills. 

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new processes, systems, and technologies. 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
